Vazquez: “we have a strong squad that can beat the leader”

The manager introduced Oscar Bruzon, praising Levante's game but trust his squad

Fernando Vazquez, alognside his new second manager Oscar Bruzon has met the press in the build-up for the Levante game and has hightlighted that the teams has bounced back after the knock-out from the King's Cup. "There is no other way round, we wanted through, but it has not been possible. We have a deep squad that is sufficiently strong to face Levante. It is a great game to say here we are and show how results are not in line with performances."

The manager hailed his opponent on Saturday "they are technically very good, with an spectular midfield and some great finishing. That is why they are where they are. This team will not make us any present. In this sense, a whole new team has accepted very well the trauma of relegation and counts with the supports from their fans despite this lower division".

For the Galician manager this game is pretty relevant in "the positive sense. If we get something out of here, we will portray personality. It will be a quality leap. If we lose it won't be differential towards our championship participation."

On another front, Oscar Bruzon has thanked the warm welcoming from "both players and managerial body". He hopes to repay the trust in him. The second manager admits he is "trying to integrate very soon in order to start helping and assisting right away in anything I can. The idea I have is to fill my role from minute 1".
