Vazquez: “we are not getting what we deserve”

The manager insists the team can beat anyone in the division as they play happy and dynamic football

Fernando Vazquez has pulled back his chair and sat down in front of the members of the media world ahead of the all-important Alcorcon clash on Sunday. He has emphasized that he is now worried about his job because he sees himself winning the game and has thanked Maheta Molango the trust on him expressed on Thursday. "Anyone loves a bit a support in difficult situation. I am very grateful".

In this light, the manager admits that people can "either believe or not in what I say. If they do not, I do not pay much attention to them. I focus on my craft and I keep believing in it. No-one has ever been neither promoted nor relegated in October." For the Galician, there is enough squad to "to win three games in a row. We're playing ok and in my opinion we are not getting what we deserve. We can beat anyone in LaLiga123, we just need some improvement up front and need to avoid some set-piece mistakes".

The gaffer pointed out the qualities of the team and warned that "despite playing pretty footie we should use that beauty to our interest. The team is happy and dynamic, not a overwhelmed one and I keep believing in it because I see how the guys compete. We have no alternative but to keep on working, polishing details and finally things will come through".

Vazquez has highlighted the difficulty of the rival and has remembered that Alcorcon has notched up a level since the relay in dugout. They are now sharp in set-piece. "I find menacing a few things from our opponent, especially their strategy". Lastly, he remarked that all he says about the rival is not to protect himself, but to underline the "existing equality in the division, that is why we should take games with patience and calm."
