U16s, U18s and the academy adult team learn new concepts on social media

Football is not only useful tuition up on the turf. Real Mallorca knows it and intends to assist the personal growth that includes values and education. For his reason and among other initiatives, based on the exponential progress of social media, a series of talks have been conducted about risks and tools of social media such as Facebook or Twitter.

Inspector Javier Martin from the Police Dept has instructed the kids in different sessions. Tuesday afternoon it was the turn for the Honour Division U18, the U18 reserves team and the San Francisco Honour Division U18 at the Espai Juaneda. Today morning talks were held for the adult academy team and at 18h for the U16 A and B teams.

Inspector Martin has shed light on 120 youngsters with lots of concepts on new virtual realities and has used example from daily life to shake them closer. The session has included a workshop on how to create a succesful personal profile on these apps.

This is a preventive action by RCD Mallorca from the digital point of view and the Club thanks the collaboration by the Police Dept.

The Club cannot ignore the education of all these young people who come everyday to Son Bibiloni. There is some responsability to transmit them useful tools, not only for the future of the entity but also for the future of society.
