We All Play We All Win is the underlying message and the reality of the Antonio Asensio Training Complex. Today and tomorrow we celebrate on the pitch number 1 the first integration tournament of the Reial Mallorca Foundation alongside CaixaBank’s Social Enterprise. One of the main calling points of the 10-game seven-a-side tournament has been the gathering of players with mental special requirements together with former RCD Mallorca players that not only are the godfathers of the teams but also are the main characters on the pitch. Each team was captained by one of the RCD Mallorca legends that led the team to promotion such as Joan Forteza, Julia Mir, Angel Bolao, Antonio Oviedo, Angel Cobo, Zamora, Arque and Guillamon.
During the course of the games and taking advantage of the conclusion of the training sessions, some players from Mallorca B have come to greet the participants of the tournament as also first-team players like Brandon and Company did. They have all taken photographs together.
At noon, the participants have eaten at the Espai Juaneda as the Club professionals do daily and after that in the afternoon more games resumed where fair play and the effort made have all been evaluated within the final result.
Tomorrow from 10:00 A.M. the finals will be played where all teams will play a game and finally the trophies will be handed. Among them, three players will be awarded for their positive behaviour as the soul deep down this tournament is the enjoyment and the team-work among the participants.
The organization closes the first day of the tournament with lots of work carried out but also with the satisfaction to see how the dreams of these youngsters have been made reality. All of them are RCD Mallorca supporters and are part of the Foundation schools. The very fact of stepping onto the Son Bibiloni grass and breathe the festive atmosphere of this competition has been very exciting.
