Salva Sevilla and Cucho Hernández analyse the draw at Celta Vigo

Find out what the pair had to say in regards to our performance, an important point and both penalties from a tight affair

Goalscorer Salva Sevilla and second-half substitute Cucho Hernández offered their thoughts following a dramatic 2-2 draw at Celta Vigo. Find out what the pair had to say about a first point away from home, both penalties and our performance:

On the game…

Salva Sevilla: “The game was difficult. They are a great team and when it was more difficult we had to show what we were made of.”

Cucho Hernández: “It’s been a very difficult game and we knew it was not going to be easy. They have shown their quality, but we had faith that we would take a point home.”

On the penalties…

Salva Sevilla: “I have seen a lot of penalties against Rubén and I had faith in my good side. He also told me that he had seen me [take penalties]. The important thing has been getting the point for the team.”

Cucho Hernández: “For the penalty he waited for me in order to let himself fall, I accept it and I will not act again in this way. As for the tackle, it was rushed.”

On a first point away from home…

Salva Sevilla: “With 10 men, we are taking away a great point and we have to do the same thing next Saturday at home.”

Cucho Hernández: “This point was important. We hope to add more at home and have good games in the Copa del Rey and on Saturday in La Liga.”
