Ecclesia-Soccer-Training-Camp - integration on the ball
Real Mallorca and Real Mallorca Foundation are working together in various social projects. A soccer-training-camp, which has been implemented in 2014 in Rüsselsheim (Germany), now has received support (donations in kind) from the foundation of the club. The mentioned project deals with the promotion of the integration of children of different social classes and backgrounds.
During the summer holidays a leisure time activity is offered that combines healthy exercise with fun playing soccer and also deals with the values "equality, anti-racism, family, friendship and respect".
With regard to the current European-wide problem and in collaboration with some partners, it was also possible to integrate the local refugee kids: "When you play soccer it does not matter what language you speak, where you come from or what skin color you have ... soccer has its own language and can overcome any borders!" says Thomas Baier, chief organizer of the project.
