RCD Mallorca settles debt with tax authorities

The money owed to the tax agency has been paid after more than a decade of repayments

RCD Mallorca is delighted to announce that it has paid all debts owed to the tax authorities in a repayment structure that has spanned longer than a decade.

The money owed to the treasury was finalised at the end of the 2020/21 season having borrowed money upon declaring bankruptcy in June, 2010.

Our current ownership group settled the debt with the necessary authorities following years of fiscal control and having settled an original insolvency debt with the previous creditors in 2017.

The conglomerate, led by principal shareholder Robert Sarver, have invested €43 million into the club since their arrival in 2016, of which €25 million was allocated to paying back money owed.
