RCD Mallorca and CaixaBank have renewed their official sponsorship agreement until 2021. Having been a partner prior to our promotion to La Liga, the financial entity has shown continued support for the sport, team and fans.
The new deal was revealed by RCD Mallorca CEO Maheta Molango and CaixaBank’s Baleares Territorial Director María Cruz Rivera at Son Moix before the former shared his delight of continuing the sponsorship.
“We have worked with CaixaBank for many years and I want to say that both entities feel comfortable with the mutual collaboration,” Molango said. “This renewal of trust leaves it clear that both parties are happy with the collaboration and I hope that we can continue prolonging it for a long time.”
Cruz Rivera also spoke of the pride the country’s third-largest bank felt about being associated with RCD Mallorca both on the pitch and off it.
“For CaixaBank it is an honour to continue being an official sponsor of the club, further consolidating the closeness that we have been maintained over the recent years and reaffirming an agreement for the future until 2021,” she said. “The fans of RCD Mallorca will be able to continue enjoying advantages and facilities that can animate their team and enjoy games of football at the stadium.”
The agreement re-establishes CaixaBank as an official sponsor of the club and will see the financial institution continue a series of counter benefits for exclusive trademark rights which will be binding to the club. The sponsorship also includes hospitality packages for CaixaBank customers and advertisement opportunities across RCD Mallorca channels.
Maintaining their sponsorship since 2011, CaixaBank will act as the reference bank for the club’s financial operations in addition to collaborating in other commercial areas, such as the issuance of customised bank cards for team supporters and future initiatives.
