Real Mallorca keeps growing with the aim to Foster thorough education to all players that make up the academy squads. In this light, the Club has signed a new agreement with USE (American University Sport Expos), a number one entity in scholarships in the United States that will allow that footballers over 18 years old can benefit from this program.
By means of this agreement, RCD Mallorca will allow footballers that cannot continue in the Reds’ ranks, the possibility to get an international scholarship that gives them the opportunity to carry on with their studies and their footballing career in the US.
For all of that, it is extremly important that from the bottom at the academy, education is prioritized as well as the learning of languages. These are two basic principles to be awarded an scholarship in this university.
Soon other Amercian universities will organize educational sessions and visit our facilities to start recruitment processes and scholarship selection processes. Besides, the Club wants to extend soon this scheme to other Clubs in collaboration agreements with the Clubs so that young players interested in following their education in the US can do so through this new platform. Over 100 Spanish sportspeople have already joined these scholarships.
