RCD Mallorca B suffered first defeat of the year against CD Binissalem

Our run of four consecutive victories ended following a difficult afternoon at Estadio de Fútbol Municipal Miquel Pons

RCD Mallorca B fell to their first defeat of the year as a winning streak of four games ended at the hands of a 2-0 loss to CD Binissalem at Estadio de Fútbol Municipal Miquel Pons.

Julián Robles made two changes to the starting XI that had beat CD Andratx on Matchday 22 a week prior. Pablo José was handed his first start of the season at the expense of Jeśus Ocaña, while Jaime De Las Marinas Gil was favoured over Enric Martínez.

Ignasi Dalmedo punished us for a slow start in the 21st minute and was a setback we never recovered from come the break as chances remained few and far between on our behalf.

Despite opportunities to equalise following the introduction of offensive substitutions in form of Erick Rafael and Martínez, Josep Bennasar doubled CD Binissalem’s advantage on the 65th minute.

We continued to desperately search for a leveller, but the hosts stood firm throughout a late wave of attacks to take all three points in front of a number of fans at Estadio de Fútbol Municipal Miquel Pons.
