RCD Mallorca are held to a 2-2 draw against Esporles

Daniel Ribelles’ debut brace was unable to prevent Los Bermellones from sharing the points at Son Bibiloni

Summer signing Daniel Ribelles struck twice on his debut as RCD Mallorca B were forced to share the points in a 2-2 draw with Esporles at Son Bibiloni.

The striker needed little time to open an account at his new club having established a comfortable two-goal advantage just after the half-hour mark before Nelson, against the run of play as the break neared, managed to pull one back for the visitors.

While Julián Robles’ side remained in the driving seat and continued to create in the final third, they were ultimately left to rue missed opportunities as Pedro Lópoez completed a comeback for Esporles 15 minutes from the final whistle.

RCD Mallorca B: Ramirez, Alarcon, Ocaña, Gaya, Hernandez, Jaime De Las Marinas Gil, Alamo (46’), Coll, Montalban (76’), Diakhaby, Ribelles (61’)

Goals: Ribelles (11’ and 35’) 2-0, Nilson (41’) 2-1, Hernandez (76’) 2-2.
