RCD Mallorca B won their third pre-season match with a 3-0 victory against Andratx thanks to goals from Ibra Diabaté, Pau Mascaró and Victor Lazaro.
We could not have wished for a better start as last year’s top goalscorer Diabaté opened the scoring when he latched onto Marcos Plomer’s through ball.
Despite not adding to our advantage having created a number of chances throughout the first half, we headed into the break with a 1-0 lead.
We were two goals to the good just eight minutes after the restart when Mascaró scored his second goal of pre-season with a fine finish after Conejero had set him up.
Conejero continued to cause Andratx problems and teed up Lazaro in the final few minutes of the match to put the icing on the cake.
Our academy side’s next fixture is on Saturday, August 6 against Atlético Baleares at the Estadi Balearear.
