Pol Roigé has given us a few of his impressions from today´s training, and among other things, he said that even though there many and good hopeful-ascenders, “all the teams start from scratch and we have to demonstrate from the beginning that we want to be one of the playoff teams.”
The player, like his teammates, said that the training has been going quite well and that the roster looks good, “we are getting to know each other better, gathering some rhythm and creating a foundation for a good season. He also mentioned the good environment, “it is a great group. We are gelling well and truthfully, I believe that management has created a great roster.”
Further, the Catalan highlighted how much work the veterans are providing, and above all, how they act as glue, “they support everyone equally and even excessively! And they are helping us young guys. We can learn a lot from them.”
Finally, on a personal note, the player recalled the past season “for whatever reason” he did not play the minutes that he had desired, “but I hope that I this year will be different and that I will win my position via hard work and support. These days have gone well; I am playing with confidence and working hard to be an important player for this team.”
