Routine tests carried out on the squad and coaching staff at RCD Mallorca have detected a new positive case of COVID-19. The person in question tested negative during Sunday’s check-up, although has been in isolation from the beginning due to close contact with a positive case.
The person in question has not participated in any training sessions since we returned from the Christmas break, and has followed protocol outlined by La Liga, national health authorities and the club itself.
The positive case will remain in insolation until a full recovery is made and is being monitored by local health authorities and the club’s medical department.
