Match Report: RCD Mallorca B 1-0 CD Binissalem

Murillo’s late own goal ensures we remain top of the league

Murillo’s late own goal saw us beat CD Binissalem 1-0 in a tightly-contested fixture at Ciutat Esportiva Antonio Asensio.

Chances were few and far between during the open exchanges as the visitors set up defensively to make life difficult for our youngsters.

Chances from Pablo Gálvez, Montalbán and Miguelito were the closest we would come to taking the lead as we headed into the break level.

Julián Robles introduced Ibra Diabaté and Lázaro upon the restart and the pair had an instant impact by combining to create the best chance of the game, although the latter was unable to beat Borja having been played through on goal.

Our efforts to get in front would eventually be rewarded when Jaime de Las Marinas deflected Javier Albín’s corner goalwards, only for Murillo to poke the loose ball past his own goalkeeper.

The only goal of the game meant we recorded three points and maintained our lead at the top of the table.
