Match Report: RCD Mallorca B 0-0 San Rafel del I.E

We were left frustrated by the visitors’ resilient defence on a tough afternoon at Son Bibiloni

We were unable to turn chances into goals as RCD Mallorca B were held to a 0-0 draw against San Rafel del I.E at Son Bibiloni.

Following a break in the fixture calendar, we returned to match action off as Julián Robles made a total of four chances to the side which lost to C.E Santanyí two weeks prior.

Despite putting pressure on the visitors from the first whistle with Pablo Gálvez unfortunate not to have opened the scoring with two opportunities inside the opening 15 minutes, we ultimately headed into the break with the scores level.

We were inches away from taking the lead momentarily after the restart as Oscar Coll breezed past the opposition defence, went one-on-one with Jorge Chanza but fired just wide of the far post.

The midfielder and Enric Martínez would have later chances to open the scoring before the final whistle, but San Rafel del I.E’s defence remained resolute to keep the scoreline level.
