Pablo Gálvez’s dramatic 87th minute strike ensured a 1-1 draw at Sant Rafel as our fight for promotion continues.
A first half with limited chances for either side meant we headed into the break goalless with a big 45 minutes ahead of us. However, we came out after the break looking sluggish and were punished moments later as Marcos gave Leo Román little chance of making a save after a great piece of individual play.
We continued to press for an equaliser, but as time began to ebb away, those in attendance would be forgiven for perhaps anticipating a defeat for Julián Robles’ side. With minutes left on the clock, Luka Romero picked up the ball in a dangerous area and found Pablo Gálvez who made no mistake in front of goal. The result leaves our academy side in the running for the final promotion places.
