Martin Valjent made history in our defeat to Real Madrid as he totalled 150 games for the club.
Our defender was presented with a commemorative shirt to celebrate the achievement having made 77 appearances in La Liga, played 62 games in Segunda, featured in seven Copa del Rey ties and competed in four play-off finals.
"When I came here I didn't imagine I could reach this number,” he told club media. “I hope there are more to come. Each one of them is special, I've enjoyed them all and I'm proud of that.
“I've had some very nice moments, like the promotions or last year's survival, but also some bad ones, like that relegation. In all these moments you gain a lot of experience and you grow.
"I am proud of my journey in this club, with my team-mates. I thank each of them for the moments I have been able to share in these 150 games.
"I like the history of the club and the statistics, but the important thing is what you transmit. There are players who have played less and may have done more. The nice thing is to be able to represent such an important club as Mallorca on as many occasions. I feel very fortunate."
