Martin Valjent and Iddrisu Baba: “The team is improving in many facets of the game”
The pair discussed our form and upcoming fixture against Villarreal with our Twitter Space
Martin Valjent and Iddrisu Baba were on fine form as they shared their thoughts on our form, moving to the island and upcoming clash with Villarreal to our club Twitter Space.
"I arrived at Mallorca after a very difficult season in Italy and here I found the happiness of playing and I am a person who always appreciates both the place and the affection from fans,” said Martin Valjent. “Villarreal are a team that reached the Champions League semi finals last season. They are a strong team, especially at home. We will try, with our weapons, to be in the best form possible.”
Having recorded a 1-1 draw in our last outing at home to RCD Espanyol, the pair reflected on the result and performance.
"I think it was one of the best second halves we have played against RCD Espanyol,” continued Valjent. “The team is improving in many facets of the game and is making progress.”
"I went into the RCD Espanyol game with great enthusiasm and excitement,” added Iddrisu Baba. “I am very happy to be able to help the team. I'm working to give my best.”
