Martin Valjent played just under 60 minutes of Slovakia’s 3-1 loss to the Czech Republic in their UEFA Nations League opener. The visitors got themselves ahead courtesy of Vladimír Coufal just after the restart before Bořek Dočkal added a second moments later. Despite Ivan Schranz’s late consolation goal for the hosts, Michael Krmenčík had put the game beyond doubt with a third earlier on in the second half.

Aleksandar Trajkovski featured for 15 minutes in North Macedonia’s 1-0 victory over Armenia in the UEFA Nations League. Ezgjan Alioski go the hosts off to a good start with a penalty after just five minutes, before Ilija Nestorovski doubled their advantage in the same manner before the break. Tigran Barsegh scored the game’s third penalty in injury time, but it was too little too late for the visitors to stage a comeback.
