#mallorcaBtour : Constancia 1 - Mallorca B 2

Mallorca B has played another friendly game in Inca as part of the preseasonal tour that the Academy team is doing around the island towards the preparation of the new season kicking off next Sunday 21st of August at Son Bibiloni against Alcoyano.

On this occasion, under extreme temperatures, the B team played another very physical game with lots of ball circulation among players. The first half ended goalless and it seemed that either team was rather focused on not conceding through great defensive strategy than concerned about attacking. There were very few goal opportunities during the first 45 minutes and only Stephen’s pace was able to break through Constancia’s defensive walls. The referee whistled half-time just after disallowing Rodado’s goal when the team’s possession was right outside Constancia’s box.

The second half started with the exact same unchanged XI on the pitch and with Rodado’s goal, this time it was allowed. Rodado gave the lead and added an extra goal to his tally. Short after, Constancia levelled. But finally, after multiple substitutions, Olaizola fielded a totally renewed XI and James gave Mallorca B a two-goal cushion by firing home a quality goal from inside the box.

Yesterday with the B team Alex Serrano made his debut after completing the preseason with the first team in the Netherlands.

Next Sunday Mallorca B take part in the community tournament at Son Ferriol and will face locals Third-Division Ferriolense at 21:00.
