Luis García Plaza: ‘We’re going to pick ourselves up and go again’

The boss reflected on our disappointing 1-0 defeat at CE Sabadell in his post-match press conference

Luis García Plaza was on post-match press conference duties after our frustrating 1-0 loss at CE Sabadell. Find out what the boss had to say about the defeat, his thoughts and his sending off:

On the match...

"The last two matches have been the same. We entered the game well, we didn't manage to score and they scored in the first one they had. From that point on, it was a case of wanting and not being able to. It's not easy when nothing goes in and it’s not easy when things go against us. They are two very similar matches. We lacked individual talent.

"We finished the match with a lot of players in the box, but we weren't good in the final third. We have to congratulate CE Sabadell, who played their football and the team that scores the most goals wins.”

On post-match thoughts...

"Lately nothing has been going our way - that's the way it is. Now is the time to show what the team is made of and we will go all out. The situation is good, but after losing two games you can't say that.

"We’re going to get up and prepare for the next one. There are six games left, we have to get twelve points and we are going for it. We're going to give everything to win next Saturday.

"Hopefully the team will be able to win on Saturday after two defeats that we didn't expect. The team deserved something more, but they didn't get it."

On the sending off...

"I just asked the fourth official why only four minutes were added. It bothers me because I won't be here next week. I didn't disrespect him, I only ask for forgiveness for asking about the four minutes.”
