Leo Roman and Antonio Sanchez spoke to club media after our 1-1 draw with Bologna. Find out what the pair had to say about our final pre-season fixture below:
Leo Roman
"I think it has been a good pre-season, the team has adapted to the coach's idea and I think it has been very positive for the team. I see the team happy and eager and I hope it stays that way.
"Today was a tough test against a good team and next weekend we play against one of the best teams but we here at home have to try to win the game and we are capable of it.
"With the players we are and the desire to adapt to the new it is being much easier and very positive.
"I also count myself as new and the truth is that I am very happy and I think the others are too. There is a very good group and people are adapting quickly.
"Very well, each time adapting better to the new to add my little bit and very happy to be here with our people and with great enthusiasm.
"The truth is that we were really looking forward to it, besides, I had not yet played in the renovated stadium, it is very nice and the people always support us a lot."
Antonio Sanchez
"I think we have to be positive. Today was the toughest opponent so far this preseason and I think the team gave their best, taking into account that they are a Champions League team and that they were not superior. On the contrary, we had more chances and then penalties are something that should not be taken into account, although we would have liked to lift the trophy. Even so, we are looking forward to next week, to recover and to prepare for the start of the league.
"Adaptation to the new system and way of playing: In the end it is complicated, all changes are difficult. We had been playing in a very defined way for a long time, but even so, the team is assimilating it well. In the end you need minutes and time to get to know your teammate and for everything to go smoothly.
"I'm happy. I have completed pre-season without any problems, which in the end is the important thing and with good feelings. I think I come out reinforced and with a lot of desire.
"It's always nice the first game but this is just the beginning of what's to come and we are super happy for another year in this stadium and with our people."
