RCD Mallorca’s fixtures against FC Barcelona and Villarreal CF have postponed following a decision by La Liga to suspend Matchday 28 and 29.
Succeeding recent events this morning relating to the quarantine established by Real Madrid and potential infections at other clubs, the league’s governing body has enacted protocol to help combat COVID-19. As a consequence of the measures established by May 12’s royal decree 664/1997, the subsequent two matchdays will be reorganised.
Action taken will be re-evaluated upon further notice and the completion of quarantines declared in affect by clubs. As organiser of the competition, La Liga continues to communicate with the RFEF, the CSD and other clubs.
