This week, RCD Mallorca becomes the headquarters of La Liga Genuine and receives its teams on April 13, 14 and 15 at the facilities of the Ciudad Deportiva Antonio Asensio. After the first stages in Villarreal and Tarragona, now the competition arrives in Palma with representatives of the most important clubs in La Liga.
Mallorca will receive this competition after having proclaimed one of the most important sports programs thanks to its work and integration of people with intellectual disabilities. The Fundacio Reial Malloca is one of the pioneering entities in the creation of this league that already has 18 teams.
The program in Mallorca
On Saturday there will be an official presentation with all the participants and the first matches will be played. The teams, which travel to the island on Friday, will be in Mallorca until Sunday, the day when the finals will be held and the trophies will be distributed.
The competition will be played in the Football 8 modality, in matches of 4 parts of 12 minutes each. The 18 participating football clubs will play in 6 groups of 3 teams.
In LaLiga Genuine not only add the sporting results, but also the positive attitudes of sportsmanship that are shown during the matches. Therefore, the teams will have a series of points on each day that will reward the behavior and actions of sportsmanship and fair play of players, coaches and hobbies.
