Julián Robles: "We want to make our fans happy against CD Teruel"

The RCD Mallorca B boss looks ahead to this Sunday’s clash at Ciudad Deportiva Antonio Asensio

Julián Robles says he wants his side to build on their win against RCD Espanyol B against this weekend’s opponents CD Teruel.

The reserve team boss believes his side can improve their league position by putting a run of good form together – starting at the Ciudad Deportiva Antonio Asensio in front of our fans.

"We had a little joy when we managed to beat RCD Espanyol B,” he told club media. “It was a very difficult opponent. They played a very serious game in which we were able to get ahead, hold on and even extend the score and play a very serious game. It is a bit of a reward for the good work the boys do every day, their commitment and sacrifice.

“It is true that the results were not coming, but at least this match will help us to raise our morale and to be able to face CD Teruel in the best conditions".

Captain David Lopez also believes that his team-mates can feed off of the three points and head into the business end of the season with confidence having ended a poor run of form.

"We needed a victory,” Lopez said. “There were many games without getting three points. CD Teruel comes with a very good dynamic, one of the best in the league. They are in first place. We now have a lot of confidence because of the victory against Espanyol B, but it is also a very difficult match.

"Come and cheer us on, support us. Everything is possible until the last league game. We are going to leave everything on the field to take the three points in every game.

"We will surely compete very well. They are a very solid team. They have only scored thirteen goals. If you make a mistake, they know how to take advantage of it very well. And well, it's true that here at home we've always played good games.

“We have competed very well. The fans are always supporting us and we hope we can give them some joy, which they also deserve because in the last few home games the results have not come and the support has never been lacking.”
