We are delighted to announce the appointment of Javier Aguirre as first-team manager of RCD Mallorca.
Our new head coach will be in charge with nine games remaining as we look to beat the drop.
Aguirre joins the club having previously managed Osasuna, Atlético de Madrid, Zaragoza, RCD Espanyol y CD Leganés across 450 games in major domestic and international competitions.
Aguirre’s new backroom staff includes assistant manager Toni Amor and physical trainer Pol Lorente – the latter of which returns to the club having previously worked in our academy.
