We’re delighted to announce Jaume Costa has joined the club on a free transfer and has put pen to paper on a two-year contract.
The left back brings a wealth of experience to the Visit Mallorca Estadi having played 198 games in LaLiga with spells at Villarreal CF and Valencia CF.
“I'm very excited to start, to contribute, to help both on and off the field,” he told the club’s website.“I knew a lot of people in the coaching staff here at RCD Mallorca and their insistence in the end made the decision for me. Mallorca was the one club who has been most interested in me.
“Pablo Ortells and the coaching staff have given me that confidence. It is an exciting project and I hope that together we can achieve the goals we have set ourselves.”
The defender has joined his new team-mates for pre-season training following the required health screening.
