Fran Gámez: "After losing, it's important to add up so as not to drop us"

RCD Mallorca will visit El Molinón on the eighteenth day of Liga 123. Vicente Moreno's team will try to return to the path of victory after the defeat in the last day at Son Moix against Málaga. Fran Gámez analyzes the game against Sporting de Gijón and how the team comes to the event: "We are quite well. Always after losing a game it is important to keep adding so as not to get out of the positions in which we are. It's going to be a very difficult match against a team that has been doing things very well since they've changed their coach and is getting enough results. We hope to make a good game and get all 3 points".

The right-back confesses that he ended up sad after the defeat against Málaga, but he remembers with fondness the reaction of the fans at the end of the game in Son Moix: "It was very nice, it was special. When you lose a game, those things do not usually happen, and that means we're doing things right and people are very happy with the work we're doing".

The footballer of Sagunto is not surprised at the good running of the team: "We have a team with very good players and we know how to adapt to many ways of playing depending on the game and we have many records and we know how to handle them quite well. So, by doing those things and having quality players on the team, I'm not surprised that we're where we are either".

On a personal level, Fran Gámez is happy with his performance and explains the keys to his good adaptation to the second division, category in which he debuts this season: "Last year here there were players who came from playing in the first and second division. Then the workouts had a rhythm of a higher category. Maybe that's why I've adapted a lot better".
