Dani Rodriguez, Omar Mascarell, Toni Lato and Javier Aguirre analyse the 1-1 draw with Valencia CF

Find out what the boss and players had to say about the point

Dani Rodriguez, Omar Mascarell, Toni Lato and Javier Aguirre shared their thoughts on the 1-1 draw with Valencia CF. Dani Rodríguez gave us the lead early on before Diego Lopez levelled matters just before the break. Find out what the boss and players had to say after the game:

Dani Rodriguez:

"We wanted to make those two draws good, we had been playing good matches and I think today the team deserved more, especially in the second half.

"In the first half we gave away one thing or another, but I think the team is the one we like, the one with intensity, the one that tries until the end and I think we have to be happy.

"I had been trying for many weeks, I finished last year with a very good feeling and this year I feel very good. The truth is that it took a while to get there, I've tried several times, but I'm happy.

"It's always important to add, but it's true that we wanted to win and make those draws good, but well, since Girona I think the team has woken up, has performed and we are seeing the Mallorca that is going to get many points."

Toni Lato:

"It was a special day, meeting with teammates and with many people that I have grown up with has been complicated and nice at the same time.

"We enjoyed a very even match in which I think we deserved more. It was a pity because we wanted the three points to stay here at home.

"I think we all have that feeling that we deserved more. I don't know if it was a bit of luck, finishing some play and so on, but football is like that. We have to keep working and believing.”

Javier Aguirre:

"The first half we were not good, the rival was better than us. I don't know if it was because of the goal or something else, but we fell back. We made a lot of mistakes, unforced errors. We were very nervous.

"In the second half I think we were better. I think it was a fair result in the end.

"Goals always hurt, but if they are scored at that moment, they condition you a lot.”

Omar Mascarell:

"Getting points is always important, but it's true that today we came with the idea of taking the three points.

"It's a hard blow. I think we have to learn in that sense. Knowing that there were three minutes left to go to the break with an advantage, we should have played with time.”
