Company: "We have to lay it all out on that field"

The Mallorcan defender appreciates the fans´ support over the final stretch of the season

Biel Company spoke with the press today and without being prompted, he stated that “we are counting on ourselves for salvation,” and because the game on Sunday “is key,”  he asked the fans for support, “like the other day, which was a huge help. With you all animated, it will be much easier to win.”

The right back showed confidence in the team´s capabilities, “we are better now than we were before the game against Elche, so we can take it. We want to win the next two games to finish the year strong.” The Mallorcan reiterated that the team cannot think about the other teams´ results, “if we win, their results won´t matter. We have to do what we can do at home, where we have been better. The fans give us strength to fight on.”

In the talented defender´s opinion, “playing at the Iberostar Stadium, in front of our people, gives us so much motivation” and he wanted to thank the support that the team has received, “we have to demonstrate how strong we are at home. In these last two games we have to die on that field, to defend the club crest, and to save ourselves for an exciting next year.”

With that said, the player thought that it would be a waste of time to account for what could happen, “it doesn’t make sense because it can mislead you. What we have to do is give it our all, win, and hope that we can go to Valladolid having secured salvation. We have to win yes, but when everybody knows what is on the line, the team knows that it can win two games.”

Finally, he assured that the team knows what it is playing for and expects a very intense game, “we have to give everything that we´ve got to save this season, otherwise it won´t be good. We cannot ask the fans for anything, but we would really like them to show up like they did the other day,” he concluded.
