Antonio Raillo signs new contract

The centre back penned a deal with the club which will seem him extend his stay until 2024

We’re delighted to announce Antonio Raillo has signed a new contract with the club until 2024.

The centre back has made 133 appearances and scored six goals since moving to the Visit Mallorca Estadi in 2016 from RCD Espanyol and has been a mainstay in defence under Vicente Moreno.

“I’m very happy for my family, the club and for myself,” he told the club’s website. “I have always said that this is like a family and a family goes through its good and bad moments. We’re going through a difficult period fighting for survival, and if we’re unable to achieve that, we must be more united than ever.”

Having played a key role in back-to-back promotions from Segunda B to La Liga over the past four years in red black, the 28-year-old is fully focused on the remaining six games of our relegation battle.

“That love we have in the changing room makes adjustments easier, even during difficult periods like we’re going through," he continued. If I have to go to war, be it in La Liga or the Segunda División, it will be alongside my team-mates.”

On behalf of everyone at the club, we would like to congratulate Antonio on his new contract.
