CEO of Business Alfonso Díaz and Sporting Director Pablo Ortells held a press conference following the end of the January transfer window.
In a month which saw the club make three additions in Sergio Rico, Muriqi Vedat and Gio Gonzalez, Díaz looked ahead to what remains of the season.
"We have limited resources and we know that we are a recently promoted club,” he told journalists. “The commitment of the players is unquestionable. They are giving their all for the club. Their commitment is absolute.
“Ours is a culture of hard work and effort. On the other hand, the ownership has a commitment that is also unquestionable and one that is long term. They have cleaned up the club and have plans for the future.”
With the club still above the relegation zone and looking to fight for survival, Ortells believes Luis García Plaza and his squad are up for the challenge.
"The players are giving 150%,” he continued. “We have to maintain the competitive spirit, this desire to win every game. We don't have to have any pressure, nor any fear. We are a newly-promoted team and we have to relish that.”
