RCD Mallorca, in line with its goal of expanding into the rural areas of Mallorca, signed two separate agreements with clubs from the “Part Forana” of Mallorca. One agreement with the CE Consell, and the other with Santa Ponça CF. The agreement with Santa Ponça creates the joint Reial Mallorca Foundation-Santa Ponça Soccer Academy.
The CE Consell agreement will be valid for three seasons, as signed by its President Miquel Vidal, who was joined at the meeting by other members of the CE Consell Executive Board.
Separately, Santa Ponça CF was represented by Alberto Lahoz, who agreed with RCD Mallorca to create the third soccer academy in the Calvia area, behind the already existing Penya Arrabal and Son Oliva academies, both in Palma. Accordingly, the Club is discussing creating a fourth academy in the Llevant area, likely to come in the coming months.
